Adnan is a PhD researcher and also works as an Assistant Professor teaching on Engineering Design & Manufacture programme within Graduate Apprenticeships.
His PhD project focuses on Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting using externally available vibrations into electrical energy that can be used to power devices and potentially store that energy. Particular emphasis of this project is on harvesting energy using the impact of raindrops on a piezoelectric device which is exposed to various different environments.
