An Evaluation of Millimeter-wave Sensing for Civil Infrastructure – Mr Daniel Mitchell

Both of their work utilises patented Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar technology from MicroSense Technologies Ltd for non-contact asset integrity inspection within two critical sectors. This includes the Civil Infrastructure Sector and Offshore Renewable Energy Sector. The development of the FMCW sensor is enabling engineers to have a better understanding about an asset, enabling for a reduction in the downtime of an asset by using preventative maintenance techniques.
