Winner of 2021 EPS Postgraduate Research 2nd Year Prize

The Smart System Group Congratulate Sonam Norbu who has been chosen as the Winner of 2021 EPS Postgraduate Research 2nd Year Prize from the Institute of Sensors, Signals and Systems, The School of Engineering and Physical Science (EPS). The prize will be awarded at the upcoming Annual EPS Postgraduate Research (PGR) Day, the 18th  October, 2021.

This EPS Postgraduate Research 2nd Year Prize is a prestigious prize awarded to PhD students based on their excellence in research work during PhD studies. Students are nominated by their academic supervisor(s) following their annual appraisal, with winners chosen from a list of students nominated within their Research Institute.

Sonam Norbu is a PhD student from Bhutan who is working under the supervision of Dr. Valentin Robu and Prof. David Flynn. He is a member of the Smart System Group, part of the Institute of Sensors, Signals and Systems, The School of Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS) at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK.
